The Lattitude Camp is minimalist yet wonderfully comfortable. In our star tents, you sleep under the enormous inky-black African sky with the mesmerising and infinite galaxies above. To make you truly feel, sense and understand the wildness of the country that Lattitude takes you to, Amory has shunned intricacies – without compromising comfort.
The Kipsing Camp is located on the edge of the Kipsing lugga, 5km upstream from the Ewaso Nyiro river. The lugga runs only during heavy rainstorms and feeds into the mighty Ewaso Nyiro river, the life-blood of the north providing much-needed water for the wildlife and cattle of the Samburu area.
The boda bodas are regularly upgraded to ensure that each rider has a relatively new machine to ride.
Typically, we buy the Tiger 150cc boda boda. This has a four-stroke air cooled engine with a top speed of 100km per hour. A range of spare parts is carried with us on these expeditions in case of breakdowns. Extra parts can be sourced along the way with the Tiger brand being popular among the local market.
